Originally from Holland John moved to Australia 50 years ago. He has been in business for over 30 years and was awarded Australia’s Best Garden Centre three years in a row. Acorn Nursery, accoring to John is an ‘inner surburban’ type garden centre. John is also the former chair of Australia’s IGCA Congress Committee.

On the back of an extremely successful Bloom 2013, Trevor explains why he holds the Bloom show so highly amongst the world’s top garden festivals and why he likes Irish show gardens so much.

On this week’s show, we also hear from the brilliant David Corscadden who shares his new hobby of botanical drawing with us.
