This in from the fantastic Adam of Sky1’s soon to be recorded programme Welcome To My Garden which is about to record an episode in the very beautiful county of Cork. And they are looking for your help.

Dear Peter,

Thank you very much for speaking to me earlier today regarding our new gardening television series, and in particular our excitement at coming to Ireland for one of our 6 episodes.

As mentioned, our new series will showcase beautiful private gardens across the UK and Ireland.  We’ll be celebrating the hard-work, enthusiasm and passion individuals put into their own personal plots as well as uncovering gardening hits and tips as we highlight a wealth of horticultural knowledge, creativity and expertise from our featured amateur gardeners.

Please see below our press release, and also as requested some images are attached.

All things running smooth we should have the team on The Sodshow to tell us all about it.

The Press Release notes as follows below….

Listen to The SodShow:

WELCOME TO MY GARDEN (working title) is a new gardening TV series made by Outline Productions – the makers of BBC’s “The Great British Garden Revival”.  It’s a new Sky 1 prime-time series where we’ll be filming within six regions across Ireland and the UK to explore and showcase some of the most stunning, imaginative & unique gardens, no matter what shape, size or style.

We’re looking for green fingered fanatics to take part and compete alongside other non-professional gardeners to compare & critique who has the best garden / gardening skills & hospitality in their region.  We’d like to encourage a variety of people with a range of gardens to come forward and apply.  They might own a national collection, or want to share their pristine tranquil retreat.  Perhaps they have a secret tropical paradise, or a garden that boasts a prize winning vegetable patch.

For the opportunity to showcase your garden and if you think you’ve got what it takes to give your honest opinion and critique other gardens too, contact Outline Productions for more information and details on how to apply.  You can email them at gardens@outlineproductions.co.uk or call on 00 44 207 424 7645.  Standard geographic charges from landlines and mobiles will apply.

Filming takes place in August 2014, and we’re looking for people to apply as soon as possible.
